New Street Authors launched its (first) anthology on October 13th on New Street; well, not actually on the street itself but at a venue with a New Street address, number 71 to be precise, The launch took place in the gallery space of the Medicine Bakery coffee shop, which is located at the first entrance on the left if you are facing down New Street from Victoria Square in the centre of Birmingham.
The launch was a great success. The bookshop table displayed copies of the anthology as well as several titles by members of New Street Authors. The table looked very impressive; thirty copies of the anthology were sold.
A click or tap on the image of the cover below will take you to the Amazon page where the e-book and paperback editions of the anthology can be purchased. With Christmas on the horizon, you might like to treat yourself to a copy or buy a present for a friend or relative.
Several authors read a short extract from their entry in the anthology. Here’s yours truly reading part of Meet Me on the Corner, in the guise of my author name, David Muir.
Andy Conway, one of the co-founders of New Street Authors, can be seen sitting on the left: Andy has one of his nice hats on. David Wake, the other co-founder is off to the right, out of shot.
